Guwahati —
Gateway to the Northeast
An ancient city on the banks of the mighty Brahmaputra, home to one of Hinduism's most powerful shrines and a vibrant cultural heartbeat.
Guwahati is more than just a transit city — it is a destination in its own right. Perched on the southern bank of the Brahmaputra River, it is one of India's oldest cities, steeped in mythology, spirituality and Assamese culture. At its heart stands the Kamakhya Temple — one of the 51 Shakti Peethas of Hinduism and among the most sacred pilgrimage sites in all of India. Beyond the temple, the city offers river islands, wildlife sanctuaries, silk weaving villages and the warm flavours of Assamese cuisine.
Shillong, Cherrapunji
& Dawki
The Scotland of the East meets the wettest place on earth and the world's clearest river.
Meghalaya is arguably the most beautiful state in Northeast India — and one of the most accessible from Guwahati. Rolling hills, dramatic waterfalls, living root bridges woven by the Khasi people over centuries, and the surreal turquoise waters of the Dawki River make this a destination unlike anywhere else on earth. Our most popular package — and for good reason.
Kaziranga
Wildlife Safari
Home of the Great One-Horned Rhinoceros. A UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of India's greatest wildlife sanctuaries.
Kaziranga National Park is one of the world's last remaining wilderness areas where you can reliably spot the Great Indian One-Horned Rhinoceros in its natural habitat. With over 2,400 rhinos, it also hosts the world's largest population of wild water buffalo, tigers, elephants and over 470 species of birds. A jeep safari at dawn through the tall elephant grass is an experience that will stay with you forever.
Tawang
& Beyond
Ancient monasteries, frozen Himalayan passes, and the India-China border at 15,000 feet. This is the road trip of a lifetime.
Tawang is unlike anywhere else in India. At 10,000 feet above sea level, surrounded by snow-capped Himalayan peaks, it is home to the Tawang Monastery — India's largest Buddhist monastery, founded in 1681. The journey there crosses the legendary Sela Pass at 13,700 feet, past frozen lakes and through clouds. An Inner Line Permit (ILP) is required, which we help arrange.
